Oguchi Onyewu is set to leave QPR after failing to agree terms regarding a contract extension.
The 31-year old American centre-back joined the English Championship club in October on a short-term deal but has not yet made an appearance for Harry Redknapp and is likely to depart Loftus Road later this month.
Of the former Metz, Standard Liege, Newcastle United, AC Milan, FC Twente, Sporting Lisbon and Malaga man, Redknapp said: "Oguchi's still here and is fit, but I think he's looking to move now. His contract is up in a week or two."
Onyewu is determined to get regular minutes at first team level in order to enhance his chances of selection for the USA squad for this summer's World Cup in Brazil.
