Ex-LA Galaxy and Seattle Sounders man Peter Vagenas has been brought in for a trial by MLS expansion franchise Vancouver Whitecaps.
The 33-year old was picked up by reigning champions Colorado Rapids late last season in a trade but the option on his contract was declined and he subsequently became a free agent.
Now the Whitecaps are casting their eye over him and may look at adding him to their injury-hot roster, using his MLS experience to help the freshman club.
