Former Everton reserves Arnoux favoured to go with Vancouver Whitecaps

Ex-Everton reserves player Cody Arnoux has signed a contract with MLS expansion franchise Vancouver Whitecaps.

The 22-year old striker joined the Whitecaps in August to play out the remainder of the USSF Division 2 season but has now been snapped up for the 2011 MLS season according to club president Bob Lenarduzzi.

"We have an agreement, yes," he said in an interview.

However, Arnoux will still have to be picked up by the Whitecaps in the 2011 MLS Expansion Draft.
