Lasagne Diarra has emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United.

According to L'Equipe, the Red Devils are showing interest in the 30-year-old French midfielder who is currently contracted at Marseille.

Diana has been in fine form back in his homeland following a 12-month absence from the game at the top level, which has seen him earn a recall to the France national team.

With veteran Michael Carrick nearing the end of his career, United are believed to be looking at a potential replacement and feel former Chelsea, Arsenal and Real Madrid man Diarra could represent good value.
