Former Celtic boss Lennon favourite for Bolton job

Neil Lennon is being tipped to take the job at Bolton Wanderers by Sky Bet.

The former Celtic manager is the odds-on favourite to step into the vacancy left by Dougie Freedman's departure which occurred a week ago.

Lennon, who led Celtic to three Scottish Premierships in a row, has been out of work since quitting the Glasgow giants at the end of last season.

The likes of Chris Hughton, Tony Mowbray, Phil Brown and Jimmy Phillips have all been linked with the Trotters post but it is believed that Lennon is now the clear frontrunner after Sky Bet trimmed his odds from 40/1 to 10/1 following a number of big-money bets.

Bolton currently sit bottom of the Championship table with just one win from 11 matches.
