Malky Mackay is set to be named as successor to Tony Pulis at Crystal Palace later on Tuesday, reports The Guardian. The former Cardiff City boss was interviewed on Sunday and Monday by Palace and appears to have beaten off competition from Tim Sherwood.
Mackay would most likely then be unveiled at a press conference on Wednesday and his first game in charge would be against one of his former clubs, West Ham United, on Saturday.
