Garry O'Connor has been formally charged for cocaine possession after he was arrested in Edinburgh in May.
The former Birmingham City striker, who recently signed a deal with Scottish club Hibernian, was found with cocaine when police conducted in the Scottish capital a raid and was today charged with drug offences.
The 28-year old will now face a trial in Edinburgh making his playing career for now uncertain just as it looked like he had things back on track.
