Lassana Diarra is eager to complete some unfinished business with the France national team.
The 30-year-old midfielder is back in the fray less than three months after joining Marseille following more than a year without a club.
Diarra won the last of his 28 caps for Les Bleus in 2010 but is hoping he can have an impact if given a chance by Didier Deschamps in friendlies against Armenia and Denmark this week and next.
"Many things have been said. I accept them," said former Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid man Diarra pertaining to his time out of the game.
"Regarding the France team there is a sense of incompleteness. So I enjoy this, and hope it will be OK.
"I am attached to this shirt. I am living my passion."
