Diego Forlan has no regrets leaving Inter Milan to sign for Brazil's Internacional.
The striker endured a difficult time at Inter.
"Italy was a bad time for me," the centre-forward told the BBC in an interview. "When I went there the team was struggling.
"I scored in my first game, a nice goal, and then got injured and was out for two and a half months. I came back and I was injured again.
"In the end I was being played out of position.
"Leaving Europe was not a difficult decision," he continued. "I try not to have any regrets. Brazil is a very nice country, they play very good football and pay good money - it's not so different from Europe."
