Third Division side Forfar's Homecoming Scottish Cup clash with Rangers could wipe out the club's debt. The fifth-round tie is being televised live and that plus gate receipts and other sources could lead to a six-figure bonanza for the Irn-Bru outfit.
Forfar boss Dick Campbell said: "The revenue will be into six figures and it could well clear all our debt. What that does is keep Forfar going for the next two or three years.
"I'm absolutely delighted for everyone connected with the club.
"Last year wasn't a great year for them. But this year, to have a windfall like that - particularly in the credit crunch - is nothing short of phenomenal."
