Nottingham Forest defender Harry Toffolo says the players are convinced of their Premier League status.

Toffolo is adamant they won't be sucked into the relegation battle this season.

He told the official website: “Of course that's the aim. What the owner is doing at the top with the board and the direction he wants us to head in, it's aligned from the very top to the bottom with the players.

“We want to make sure we compete and put performances in, that's all we can do.

"We want to repay the owner (Evangelos Marinakis) for bringing us in first and foremost, but also repay the fans that come here every single week."
