Nottingham Forest are chasing Newcastle United striker Leon Best.
The News of the World says Forest boss Billy Davies is moving for the former Coventry City star.
Best is available from Newcastle, though manager Alan Pardew is reluctant to part with him until he finds himself a new striker signing.
Davies is in the market for a new attacker and has also asked Arsenal about Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.
