Forest boss Nuno: Cooper's legacy amazing; no Spurs regrets

New Nottingham Forest boss Nuno admits he has concerns about the size of the squad he's inherited.

The former Tottenham manager took charge yesterday after the dismissal of Steve Cooper.

He said: "I have never managed a squad of this size.

"That's a challenge for us as well but it's a new chance for everyone, like the players who have not played regularly before.

"I want everyone to be involved and to be committed so we can have more options. I can promise we will be an organised team who will give everything they have."

He added: "There are no regrets about Tottenham.

"What happened, happened. It was a pleasure to be at Tottenham. Things did not go well and we move forward. Now it is a pleasure to be at Forest.

"What Steve did here was huge – getting Forest back in the Premier League. We will try to improve his amazing legacy."
