Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies insists his goalkeeper Lee Camp is England class.
Camp, who will celebrate his 26th birthday on Sunday, kept 19 clean sheets in the league last season. Davies insists he remains the best keeper in the Championship and believes that if other players with no top-flight experience can be given a call-up, then the door may also be open for Camp in the future.
"It is not my job to pick somebody else's team for them but, from a performance point of view, Camp deserved all the accolades he got last season," Davies told the Nottingham Post. "He proved he is one of the best keepers at this level."
He added: "His ability has never been in doubt. All he can do is keep performing as we know he can because last season he was excellent, then we will see."
