Veteran shot stopper Wayne Hennessey has been backed to show his quality for Nottingham Forest.
The 35-year-old will be involved as Forest take on Manchester United on Tuesday.
While Dean Henderson is the no.1 this season, he is on loan from United, which means he cannot feature in the game.
"It has been really positive with Wayne," said manager Steve Cooper, per Nottinghamshire Live.
"We were all aware of his experience and his career, both internationally and in the Premier League.
"He has really lived up to what you hope he would bring in terms of his presence around the training ground and presence around training and matchdays. He has been a real positive influence on so many things. I know also in the goalkeeping unit and department, he has been a real plus there as well.
"But of course he is a player and when called upon you want him to play well. Last time he played, against Spurs in the cup, I thought he was excellent, using his experience and ability. We hope when called upon again, he is able to show it.
"We are all really fond of Wayne. He has been a real good plus for the group and let's hope he can take that on to the pitch."
