FOOTIE TWEETS: Transfer special - Arsenal's Ozil, Man Utd's Fellaini, Real Madrid's Bale and more…

By far the biggest signing of the summer transfer window was Real Madrid's £85.3million capture of Gareth Bale from Tottenham.

The Welshman took to Twitter to describe his world-record move to the Santiago Bernabeu as a 'dream come true'.

Before praising former clubs Tottenham and Southampton for developing him into a player who has cost more than any other in world football.

Arsenal finally opened their purse strings, spending more than £42million on Mesut Ozil who switches Real Madrid for North London.

The Gunners have been crying out for a big name signing like this for years and there was plenty of positive stuff happening on Twitter after the deal was complete.

Santi Cazorla was over the moon.

So was Jack Wilshere…

And 'The Ox' was also delighted with the capture of the Germany international.

Manchester United rejoice after signing Marouane Fellaini from Everton.

Whilst Liverpool were thrilled to bring in French defender Mamadou Sakho from Paris Saint-Germain for £18m.

Young English-born Portuguese defender Tiago Ilori also joined the Reds, making the move from Sporting Lisbon.

As Victor Moses joined on a season-long loan from Chelsea.

Peter Odemwingie signed with Cardiff City, after a turbulent time at West Brom, and was looking forward to getting back to what he does best with his new club.

United's Nick Powell joins Wigan Athletic on loan.

Arsenal also made another signing on deadline day, bringing in goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano on loan from Palermo.

Chelsea young gun Romelu Lukaku was sent out on loan for a second season, this time to Everton, following his successful spell with West Brom last term.

And Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles wished the new and departing Toffees all the best on their respective moves.
