This week, Manchester United clinched their 20th league title on Monday night and there was plenty of congratulations flying around from all angles.
Borussia Dortmund also surprised all by beating Barcelona 4-0 in the Champions League, shifting the European power towards Germany.
Below are a selection of Tweets incorporating both of those triumphs whilst serial Tweeter Joey Barton was sharing his views on the Luis Suarez biting debate.
Chicharito was having some fun on Twitter, posting a championship-winning photo with goalkeeper David de Gea.

Marseille midfielder Joey Barton suggests Pep Guardiola could be joining Bayern Munich ahead of a very exciting time for the German giants in the wake of their Champions League semi-final win on Tuesday night.
Pep must have watched Bayern tonight and thought, 'What a lucky bastard I am!' #vergeofeuropeandominance — Joseph Barton (@Joey7Barton) April 23, 2013
Whilst ex-Barca ace Gary Lineker feels perhaps Guardiola would be better suited returning to the Nou Camp.
Only one of these sides needs Guardiola and it's not Bayern Munich.

Dutchman Ruud Gullit was also very complimentary of the German champions.

As always, Barton had a little bit more to Tweet about, mainly regarding Liverpool's Luis Suarez and his bite on Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic.
Suarez has alleged bitten someone. Watched the game, didn't see the incident. Whilst you can't condone biting, he is some footballer! — Joseph Barton (@Joey7Barton) April 21, 2013
You cannot defend Suarez's bite. Its not defendable. You can however defend Suarez the man, the player. Ok, he f*cked up. He'll be punished. — Joseph Barton (@Joey7Barton) April 21, 2013
He has came out and apologised. He'll probably get a ban. He'll no doubt be fined by the club. He is a human who has made a mistake?
