Three footballers and jockey Andrew Heffernan have been found guilty after a horse racing corruption inquiry, reports BBC News. Ipswich's Michael Chopra, Doncaster winger James Coppinger, and former Manchester United player Mark Wilson breached the sport's rules.
They were among nine charged in an investigation by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) into gambling on horses to lose.
All face bans from racing, with penalties to be announced later.
