Bein Sport has acquired the USA media rights to the Football League and Capital One Cup, reports SportsPro. The Al Jazeera-owned network, set to launch in the US on 15th August, will show matches from the Npower Championship and the Capital One Cup. It has also secured the online rights to both competitions.
The deal sees Bein Sport replace Fox Soccer as the Football League's broadcast partner in the US. It also has the rights to La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1.
