Football Federation Australia look set to take a controlling share of Adelaide United. Reds officials have been in discussions with FFA all week and it looks almost certain that the club will under the federation's control early next week.
"It will be business as usual," an FFA spokesperson said.
"But the scenario is looking positive for Adelaide United."
Adelaide's office operations will not be changed and the salary cap available to coach Aurelio Vidmar will remain the same.
The Reds will become the second A-League club to be under control of the FFA after the Brisbane Roar relinquished 51 per cent of their share recently.
