Portuguese duo Sergio Conceicao and Paulo Fonseca are being considered by Tottenham as replacements for Nuno Espirito Santo.

The Spurs board have held a crisis meeting to discuss Nuno's future after a dismal loss to Manchester United on Saturday.

It was Nuno's fifth loss from ten Premier League matches in charge of Spurs.

Nuno drew boos from supporters when substituting Lucas Moura for Stephen Bergwijn in the second-half in the loss to United.

The Evening Standard says Fonseca and Conceicao are the two coaches being considered to replace Nuno.

Fonseca was approached in the summer to take over at Spurs but negotiations collapsed.

The former Roma coach has recently been linked with Newcastle.

Conceicao is currently in charge of Porto.

However, Daniel Levy and technical director Fabio Paratici will consider a number of names before making the decision.
