Wolves fullback Kevin Foley has welcomed the arrival of Jermaine Pennant from Stoke City.

Pennant, 29, has joined the Championship club on a three-month loan after being frozen out at Stoke.

Long-serving right-back Foley said: "Jermaine is a very good signing for us. With wingers Razak Boukari, Stephen Hunt and Slawomir Peszko out injured, it was a no-brainer.

"We've got to be grateful that he's decided to come to Wolves because I'm sure a lot of clubs were looking to take him on board."
