Chelsea new boy Wesley Fofana has revealed his desire to follow in the footsteps of great French players at the club.
The likes of Marcel Desailly, Frank Lebouef, and Claude Makelele all shined for the Blues over the years, while N'Golo Kante is a current fan favorite.
Now Fofana, a young French centre-back, is ready to take on the mantle after signing from Leicester City.
"I hope to be like the legends: [Marcel] Desailly, [Claude] Makelele. I hope in 20 years, maybe, I will have my own banner [inside Stamford Bridge," he said to club media.
"I will give everything because I love this club, it's my dream, and I give everything on the pitch, for the fans.
"I'm very excited to be here, to play for Chelsea. It's a very, very good day for me. I am a very big fan of [Didier] Drogba. I watch every game and I remember the Champions League final. Also, [N'Golo] Kante, I love the personality of the guy, he's a nice guy."
