Phil Foden has ruled out leaving Manchester City.

The midfielder admits he sees bigger opportunities for himself when David Silva departs at the end of the season.

While he says he will be sad to see his hero go, he believes the departure of Silva from the club next summer can give him the platform to achieve all of them.

“I want to play in the derby, in a Champions League Final in Istanbul – which I believe we can. I want to play for City in big games and I want to play for England," he told the Daily Express.

“I am excited for the future so hopefully I will play regularly next year.

"I am so excited to see where that goes."
