Dundee United's Willo Flood believes the club can do what Shamrock Rovers did last season and qualify for the Europa League.
The Terrors have the chance to progress to Europe's second tier club competition and Flood suggests the Tannadice outfit are capable of mixing it with some top clubs especially if Ireland's Shamrock could.
"They did unbelievably well and put on some good performances home and away.
"We must aim to do the same and it would be great for the fans to get a few away trips in Europe.
"Reaching the group stages would be brilliant for the club, the city and the whole of Scottish football.
"It's a great opportunity for us and hopefully the draw is kind.
"The games are not too far away and that will be the focus during pre-season. It's massive for us.""If Shamrock can get into the Europa League, so can we," the 27-year old Dublin-born Flood said.
