Mathieu Flamini insists the current Arsenal team does not lack leaders.
Arsenal were also blasted by former Manchester United midfielder Paul Scholes, who accused them of having "no leaders" and "no discipline".
Flamini said: "I feel there are more leaders on the pitch, more personality, more character. That's important because it was maybe missing a bit in the past couple of years.
"But this year we have more leaders, more characters and it is very important to keep going in this direction."
