Flamengo have declared their interest in Inter Milan striker Adriano. After being snubbed by Ronaldo this week, Flamengo president Marcio Braga has declared they want to bring Adriano back to Brazil for next season.

"We have an interest in Adriano. He is very dear to the club and I would like to see him in the rojinegro uniform," said Braga.

"Adriano has already shown interest in returning to Flamengo, but this was him and not his club. I have no news whatsoever that this issue has been discussed officially. But if an opportunity arose in January, we will talk."
