Flamengo vice-president Marcos Braz says they'll keep fans up to date on talks with David Luiz.

The former Arsenal defender has been speaking with Fla about a return home to Brazil this season.

Braz said, "There is absolutely nothing official, nothing close.

"David Luiz is a Brazilian national team player. There is nothing. If you talk about centrals, there will always be someone on our list and it has to be that way. But we have nothing to talk about David Luiz, there was no approximation, no issue related to the proposal, none of that.

"We know very well how much David Luiz costs. I will not deceive the fans."
