Former Middlesbrough and Norway striker Jan Aage Fjortoft has questioned Liverpool's deal for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Emre Can.
The Bundesliga expert simply doesn't rate Can.
The Norwegian told Sky Sports Radio: "I don't think he is a good signing, I think he's an average player in Germany.
"But Brendan Rodgers has shown before that he's a much better manager than Jan Aage Fjortoft so we have to trust him in that department.
"I can't see that he will improve Liverpool Football Club."
