Five A-League clubs fined for misconduct offences

Football Federation Australia have pocketed a cool $15,000 after five A-League teams were fined after being found guilty of misconduct offences.

Both Gold Coast United and Central Coast Mariners received fines for their part in a melee in their Round 24 clash at Bluetongue Stadium. The Mariners copped a $3000 bill whilst United were hit with a $5000 fine.

Perth Glory and Wellington Phoenix were both handed $3000 for the melee in their match at ME Bank Stadium whilst Adelaide United were given a $1000 suspended fine for having seven players booked in their away fixture with Melbourne Victory.
