Gaming technology firm Power8 has acquired the naming rights to La Liga outfit Espanyol's Estadi Cornella-El Prat stadium, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. Under the seven-year deal, the venue will be renamed the Power8 Stadium from the 2014/15 season. It is the first time the stadium has had a naming rights partner since its opening in 2009.
As a top-level partner of Espanyol, Power8 will have branding throughout the ground as well as access to a range of club-related marketing rights. Financial terms were not released.
