The first round picks of the MLS 2009 Super-Draft were completed today in St Louis. The drafting system is unique to US sports and is conducted over several rounds. The following is an outline of the first round picks, however as previous seasons have unfolded initial picks can often be exchanged relatively quickly within the season:
