Fiorentina refuse to give up their bid for Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Eboue.
The Daily Star Sunday says Arsenal are thought to be ready to sell but the price tag for the 26-year-old, believed to be £9million, is too high, according to Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino.
Corvino said: "There is still quite a long way to go. The asking price is not the market value.
"But we are waiting confidently. If we do not reach an agreement, it means we will sign other players."
Eboue would be the third player sold by Arsenal this summer, following Emmanuel Adebayor and Kolo Toure, who have both joined Manchester City.
