Fiorentina have made a shock bid for Real Valladolid goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo.
It's emerged that Fiorentina have slapped in an £8 million offer for the young shot-stopper.
Valladolid were in advanced talks with Atletico Madrid last week over Asenjo's sale, but Fiorentina could trump all Spanish competition - including Barcelona - to land the keeper in the coming days, says Giornale di Toscana.
