Fiorentina are keeping hold of on-loan Chelsea midfielder Mohamed Salah.
The London Evening Standard says Fiorentina have decided to trigger the option to extend Salah's loan next season before buying him on a permanent basis next year.
Salah has scored seven goals since joining Fiorentina from Chelsea in January and is attracting interest from other Serie A clubs in Juventus and Roma.
But as part of the agreement made with Chelsea, Fiorentina have first refusal to loan him next term, as long as they pay a fee of £1.5m. They then intend to buy the Egypt international for an initial £9.5m plus add-ons in 2016.
