Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade is eager to speak with Leicester City over the future of on-loan defender Yohan Benalouane.

Benalouane joined Fiorentina on a temporary deal from Leicester during the January transfer window but the 28-year-old has not yet made a single appearance for the Italian side due to fitness related problems.

Fiorentina are getting frustrated with Benalouane's persistent injuries, as he is yet to feature under Paulo Sousa, and now Prade has stated that he will hold talks with the Premier League-leading Foxes over the potential cancellation of the loan.

Prade told TMW: "This is turning into a chronic problem.

"We'll speak with Leicester City and with the player and we'll see what decisions must be taken."
