Fiorentina have made a move for Sao Paulo defender Joao Miranda.

The Viola have tabled a £6 million bid for Miranda, though Sao Paulo president Juvenal Juvencio is demanding closer to £10 million.

Fiorentina sports chief Pantaleo Corvino confirmed: "Miranda has an interest in coming to Italy, but there is a difference on the value of the player."
