Fiorentina striker Alberto Gilardino insists he's not worried about his Italy place with the availability of Juventus forward Amauri confirmed.

"I am not afraid of Amauri," he said of the Brazilian who will be an Italian citizen from September.

"It is perfectly fair competition and I am ready for a great season. It won't be easy to repeat last year's goal tally, but the important thing is to be at the top level."
