Fiorentina coach Italiano moves quickly to end Juric tension after furious clash

Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano moved to quickly end any tension with Torino counterpart Ivan Juric after Saturday's 0-0 draw.

Juric was sent off and later accused of making threats to Italiano as they clashed on the touchline.

Italiano later gatecrashed Juric's post-match press conference to give the Toro coach a hug.

"These things happen when the adrenaline is running through your veins, you argue over silly things. Vincenzo is a friend as well, there was just a lot of tension," Juric told Sky Italia.

“I was mean to him. We've had this intense duel for a while, I went over the line today and was quite rightly sent off. Of course, I can't make any promises about next time…"

He added: “I saw a Torino side that created lots of chances and didn't take them in the first half, that is always our problem. Then certain decisions raise the level of irritation and tension. Rather than talk about controversy, I'd focus on a great Torino performance.

“We had a disallowed goal, Ricci is if anything too polite, so to see him sent off for that…"
