Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano admits confidence is low after their Europa Conference League thumping by Istanbul Basaksehir.
Fiorentina were thumped 3-0 in Turkey on Thursday night.
“I didn't expect a second half like this. We seem to fall apart at the first sign of difficulty. The game was in the balance, but it ended 3-0 because we are fragile," Italiano told Sky Italia.
“When something goes wrong, we just exit the game. We had started with the intention of reacting to the recent setbacks, the first half was fine, instead we had another similar setback.
“Our opponents were coming off a run of strong results and we were not, so that was the difference between the clubs tonight. They reacted to setbacks, we did not, because the confidence level was so very different."
He added: “We can't seem to find a way through, a spark that can light us up. It wasn't a bad performance until their goal, which once again we gifted.
“Of course I'm worried, I am always worried, because the opponents work to make life difficult for us and at the moment we can't seem to find that breakthrough that changes our games and lights up our mentality. We've got to find a way to turn things around."
