Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano says they face AC Milan in good shape.

The Viola meet the Rossonero later tonight.

Italiano said, “We want to try and keep our place in the standings, if not improve it if possible. It will be a difficult fixture which, however, we have prepared for well.

“During the break we worked well, with intensity and enthusiasm, it was a good atmosphere. In the last few days, we have gone in on our strategy."

He added: “Milan is a strong team. Even though they have gone through a bit of a difficult time lately, they always manage to respond well.

“We expect an intimidating stadium and a fiery atmosphere. It will be an important test. We must show our maturity and growth."
