Fiorentina sports chief Pantaleo Corvino has revealed the players they've missed out on this summer.

"I've tried for Raul Albiol (Real Madrid), Juan (Roma), Lucio (Inter Milan) and Felipe (Udinese), but I received negative replies," said Corvino. "It's difficult to buy a centre-back because there isn't any on the market.

"A right wing-back? I am working on it and I think I can get one. It is not easy to improve this Fiorentina team."
