Fiorentina sports director Pantaleo Corvino has confirmed talks with Arsenal over the sale of Felipe Melo.

"Arsenal has made us a proposal for Melo, Arsene Wenger still wants to talk to me, still wants me to consider their proposals," said Corvino.

"I will not rule anything out, up to a certain time limit, I do not exclude anything."

Asked about a swap involving Emmanuel Eboue, Corvino added: "Eboue is a name that I offered, because he is in the last year of his contract and has the corresponding technical features that we are looking for."
