Fiorentina insist Manchester United target Stevan Jovetic is not for sale.
The 19-year-old Montenegro international scored a sensational brace in the 2-0 win over Liverpool this week.
"Jovetic is not for sale at any price," assured director of sport Pantaleo Corvino. "When Fiorentina sign a player and he wants to stay, then we will keep him.
"For as long as Jovetic shares our ambitions for Fiorentina, he will remain one of our central figures.
"When a player comes to Florence, he must consider it an achievement rather than a stepping stone and I believe this is the case for Jovetic."
Fiorentina became the first Serie A side to introduce buy-out clauses in their contracts, but not yet for Jovetic.
"When we signed him two years ago, we paid £6m. He was very young and there was no clause. Felipe Melo had a clause worth £7m, Sebastien Frey's is £16m.
"We are putting ourselves in a position so if tomorrow they don't feel like staying, they have the chance to walk away for a set fee."
