Former Liverpool fullback Steve Finnan has no regrets over his move to Espanyol.

The defender has been restricted to just five games so far this season due to injury, but insists: "I do not regret anything. When you sign for a team, you know things can go well or badly, but this is football and football can be harsh. Moreover, it is impossible to predict the future.

"I'm very happy here and I am not thinking about leaving in the summer. The aim is to train and help the team and I do not think about anything else for the next season."
