After two horror losses at the hands of Blackpool and Chelsea, Wigan managed to restore some sanity with a hard-fought win against Tottenham who were coming off an away win over Stoke City.
Hugo Rodallega was once again the man for Roberto Martinez's Latics with an 80th minute goal that dragged his side of the bottom and left Spurs boss Harry Redknapp scratching his head.
Rodallega managed to break the stalemate with a weak shot that was somehow let in by Spurs stopper Carlo Cudicini who was making his first start back since his motorcycle accident last year but it won't be one to remember as his mistake handed Wigan all three points in a smash-and-grab performance.
