Feyenoord showing interest in Man City's Celtic loanee Guidetti, ex-Liverpool ace Kuyt

Feyenoord are keen on a couple of attacking aces according to technical director Martin van Geel.

The Dutch outfit are seeking potential summer moves for Celtic loan star John Guidetti and former club great Dirk Kuyt who is currently with Turkish side Fenerbahce after a great career at Liverpool.

Van Geel told Fox Sports that the pair are certainly in the sights of Feyenoord while suggesting that there could be a permanent return on the cards for Guidetti who starred on loan at De Kuip in 2011/12.

"Dirk Kuyt and John Guidetti are two very good players, which are very interesting for us because they can leave for free," said van Geel.

"I don't need to tell you what Kuyt would mean for Feyenoord. He's a strong candidate. We also follow Guidetti."

Of Manchester City's Guidetti, who has 13 goals in 26 outings for Celtic, van Geel added: "Yes, I've been in Glasgow.

"I attended the match between Celtic and Aberdeen and it was a very interesting game. He played 25 minutes. He [Guidetti] started well at Celtic, scored a lot. But he doesn't want to renew his contract over there and when that happens it becomes a very different situation."
