Holland youth international Stefan de Vrij has become a firm target for Arsenal.
Gunners scout Steve Rowley went to watch Japanese young gun Ryo Miyaichi, who is on loan at Feyenoord Rotterdam, in last weekend's win over ADO Den Haag and whilst there, de Vrij caught the eye of the Arsenal man.
It is believed that the North London club will go after the 19-year old defender to sign him permanently before sending him back to Feyenoord on loan next season.
de Vrij has emerged as a regular first-teamer in Rotterdam and has a very bright future that Arsenal hope to capitalise on.
