Feyenoord chief Martin van Geel says Manchester City winger Omar Elabdellaoui will join them later in the summer.

Elabdellaoui will begin preseason training with City before joining Feyenoord on-loan.

"Coach Roberto Mancini will still use him, because many City players are missing because of the European Championships," said Van Geel.

"But we have verbally agreed that he'll then join on loan for one year."
