Feyenoord chief Martin van Geel admits they face losing Ron Vlaar to Aston Villa.

The defender was in England over the weekend for talks with Villa management.

"Ron was in Birmingham yesterday and he wants to continue his career there. Last week we talked with Ron about a new contract, but that was not an option," said Van Geel.
